“ I was very happy to return to Vaxjo this year and made sure to eat at Galai again. I was not disappointed. Another wonderful meal at this up-scale, cool eatery. I started with langoustine that had a lovely subtle sauce. Tender and really delicious. For the main course I had char in a soup of fresh, barely cooked, vegetables and fennel. See the picture, it was amazing. I ordered a side of boiled potatoes, a Swedish staple. Great restaurant. Hopefully I'll visit here again next year. Indeed I did! The oysters to start, with a delicious sauce and caviar, see photo. Then I had the meat balls, which were amazing. Great restaurant, see you next year. ”

“ Many thx for an exquisite experience, The Toast Skagen was light in consistence yet full of distinct flavors, very refreshing and one of the best I had in a long time. The “Röding” was delicate, and the dessert was the same construction as Toast Skagen, light yet still full of distinct flavors. Many kudos to the waitress “Louisa” who magnifically translated the requests into external memories. All in all excellent in many ways We were a larger group dining at the evening of the 17th of February 2023 ”

“ Warm and cozy! I got to talk to the waitress and how the place is so warm and inviting. "Chill vibes" essentially. She mentioned that it's true tonight but tomorrow and Saturday, after 2200, they have a live DJ and they turn into like a little dance club. Good to know! I enjoyed dinner there today though! The warm cozy place is inviting and the staff is super friendly. I'm staying in the area and not being Swedish, this place was recommended to me by the hotel lobby. I'm so glad they did! The swedish meatballs were amazing and filling! The creme brulee was also really good!! All in all a good solo experience! Highly recommend! ”
